Join the March Against Monsanto
I’m confused by this picture. Are we advocating burning a house? What’s happening here? I’m completely against GMO’s but this pic makes me think I need to exit left.
maybe because GMO foods makes kids have ADD ADHD and all those new hypertension hyperactive kids.
It means you give them hell, hence, the fire. Don’t take things so literally…
Hundreds of international simultaneous protests, tiny organizing groups, small spark. There is something memetic happening here.

We’ve sent out our “product” labels to over 200 locations nationally as part of our GMO Awareness Project. Come check out our Stick it to the Can in-store actions and more at:
More alarmist fiction peddled by an organisation that would have people starve rather than allow the use of rigourously tested technology which would feed millions more people on less cropped land.
Oh, and a smiling child in front of a burning house?? If you want to be taken seriously, try understanding the difference between internet-posts that are morally right and wrong.
Let’s have a march a month and get this thing really rolling all the way to Washington, in the White house and Senate. Let’s let our elected officials know “Hands off our food supply.” I am elated that millions on this planet are thinking the way I think about how Monsanto is taking over our food production and altering it’s content (GMO) for corporate profit. They in turn are altering the innocent lives of children and people by creating “Frankenfoods.” People wake up this is about your life and everyone your love.
I agree with the original comment, in that pictures like this just make you think that they are crazy. And to the person who says that the picture should not be taken literally, then how should it be taken? Should I not take anything they say literally, either?
And, more to the point, who are these people anyway?
Just like finding out who Monsanto are, who they are funded by, and who ultimately gets power and wealth from them, similarly who are the anti-Monsanto group? I’ve spent too long searching the web today trying to find out their detailed plan. And without such a detailed plan, I won’t join any movement.
I met one of these people yesterday as I was passing one of the marches. I took one of their leaflets, asked a few questions, but still felt in the dark. So here I am, on the web today, trying to find out more, but can’t. Too many Facebook pages, spin-off pages, and so on. What I have found is a totally disorganised clutter which will never rival a global corporation. To perform the latter, you need to operate like one, and these people are not doing that, which is why these movements fail time after time.
If you are going to use the web to reach people, you need to understand how it works and how search engines work.
You will also need a detailed knowledge of how global corporations get be to be as such, and how they maintain their position.
And I may well be posting this on one of the disorganised pages where no-one will even see it, but I’ll do it anyway. Hopefully someone high up in the anti-Monsanto movement will read it and take note of it.
And trying to get this comment posted, is a task in itself.
